Give today, for tomorrow.
DonateWe serve Hertford, Bertie, and Northampton Counties in Northeastern NC.
The Cultivator is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities in Northeastern North Carolina by promoting rural literacy, food access, creativity, and storytelling.
We believe that vibrant, sustainable communities grow through the power of education, access to nutritious food, and the celebration of local voices. Through grassroots initiatives, partnerships, and programs tailored to the unique needs of the region, The Cultivator works to inspire lifelong learning, bridge gaps in food equity, and uplift stories that reflect the heart and heritage of rural life.
Together, we cultivate a future where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
